Thai Yoga Massage originated in India and has its roots in Ayurveda and yoga. I use assisted yoga postures to restore your body's mobility and encourage alignment of the joints and spinal column. By applying pressure to specific points on your body, circulation is increased, helping to clear stagnant fluid. Some points also trigger the release of neurotransmitters, calming the nervous system and bringing mental clarity. Tensions in the body are often linked to tensions in the mind, and it’s common to experience the release of emotions as tension drains away.
I received my certification in Thai Yoga Massage in Mysore, India, in 2017.
